Girlfriend and I went to Salem today. It was fun. There are a lot of interesting little shops and historical sites around, though it seemed like there were two Witch Museums for every one person who was actually tried for witchcraft.
Still, I think the highlight of the day was on the ride home, when I caught a fellow subway rider picking his nose. Although I guess “caught” is the wrong word, since he was two knuckles deep all the way from MIT to Harvard.

so what did you do? Say in a loud voice, “What are you doing with that?”
or simply gasp loudly in horror?
or did you advise the rider about the nutritional benefits of boogers?
Do tell.

I really want to visit Salem one of these days. It seems like it would be such a fun little place to visit.

Katherine: None of the above, unfortunately. Girlfriend and I took turns giving each other slightly-too-loud status updates:
“He’s still going.”
“Oh, he might be done… Nope, nevermind.”
“Wow, has he hit brain yet?”
and so on.
F&D: Yeah, Salem was cool. Most of the touristy things cost money, but we had a good time just walking around and exploring. Sometime when the weather’s nicer, I’d like to go back.
